This is osteopathy
Osteopathy is a healing medicine, developed in the 1920s. An osteopath looks at, examines and treats the body as a whole. So the muscles, tendons, bones and joints (the musculoskeletal part), as well as the organs, the circulation of blood and lymph, the neurological aspect and the psycho-emotional spectrum; a holistic approach.
This is what osteopathy does
My goal as an osteopath is to treat the body with manual techniques (read: my hands) so that it starts to move to help itself. This means that as an osteopath I often look for the cause of a complaint and usually do not immediately treat the complaint as such.
At Osteopathy de Vallei the self-healing capacity of the body is central. I focus on the specific complaint and put it in the bigger picture of the entire body. In addition, I listen to your story, I take the time and try to get to the core of the complaint together with you.
